Google History Pin

So another day another reasonably interesting use of Google Maps/or HTML (i'm probably wrong about that (do let me know if I am)). Having already covered Hip-Hop Maps, Interpol's music video, Red Bull's Street Art and probably a few other bits and bobs; here is History Pin.

History Pin aggregates photos not only geographically (in much the same way that Red Bull's Street Art website did) but also chronologically. By this allows you to trace the changing landscapes and cityscapes over the decades (albeit the website is currently in it's nascent stages but one assumes this is to be the end result).

An interesting website with a nice interface, I just wish they'd chilled out on the fucshia colour scheme. It's a lot.
