In the caption below it reads
“Emma is truly brilliant,”says Steve Kloves, screenwriter of seven of the eight Potter films. “Emma was always the one who, we thought, might leave, and i always said that if she left, I would leave.” It was certainly an extraordinarily prescient piece of casting. Who could have predicted that the ten year-old Emma Watson would develop in a way that closely parallels her on screen counterpart? Admittedly, she has better hair than J.K. Rowling’s swotty heroine and her dress sense is vastly superior, but Watson has the same intelligence, even in the heady worlds of high fashion and Hollywood, remarkably sensible. While other child starlets go off the rails, or are pushed by the endless paparazzi attention they attract (and Watson had it much worse than her male co-stars in that respect), she has grown into someone poised and even, if the word doesn’t sound too grandiose, some wise."

Notice the photo shop they did on her waist above and look at her below

In this article Emma states about acting and the Hermione role, “I got the role when I was so young. You know, it wasn’t something I was looking for; it found me." which is completely different from what she has stated in the past. From iheartwatson.net (sunday magazine 2009) “I loved the books—I was a massive fan. I just felt like that part belonged to me. I know that sounds crazy, but from that first audition, I always knew. At the beginning, they were casting the other characters as well — but I always knew I was going out for Hermione. She came so naturally to me. Maybe so much of myself at the time was similar to her.” This Hermione/Emma thing is something I posted on a while back. It's about how Emma has used the character of Hermione to sculpt her image. Check THIS out.

This would be a prime example as to how media hyped she. This is also another example of Emma retooling her image. Now she never wanted to be Hermione and if you clicked the THIS link you'd understand what I am saying. I think she's getting a big head. I've showed this kind of example all over this blog of her contradicting herself numerous times. Either she is ultra-indecisive of what she believe in or how she feels or its one of those situations she can't keep up with the fake image she's trying to portray. Sometimes it's hard to remember what you said prior let alone misleading comments.
Also the claim she gets more paparazzi attention than her male counterpart stars is Emma's doing because unlike Dan and Rupert, Emma grasped onto the London NIGHT LIFE as well as became affiliated with international companies like Burberry and now LANCOME. Dan and Rupert have just been actors not going overboard with a pleathora of magazine covers, photo shoots and interviews overexposing their celebrity like Emma has. But you know Emma says HERE being famous is really hard.
There are photos of her coming out of CLUBS not looking composed but Emma is one celebrity that gets protection from the press. It takes the gossip sites to point this out. Nor does she do risque things for attention and that blue link above labeled NIGHT LIFE shows nothing of the sort right? There have been many child stars that did not go off the rails. I think this claim is way pre-mature.
