Many people associate the deeper recesses of the internet with snuff movies and a whole host of equally unpalatable stuff. Rest assured it's mainly filled with stuff like this.
Doggelganger is a New Zealand website that aims to match up ownerless dogs with...well...owners. They do this through facial recognition, face mapping and all kinds of other shit that seems utterly surplus to the process. The website is basically what the future used to look like. Still it does allow us to crowd round and laugh at a computer so it's not completely without merit.
Still got my ginger beard right. Gutted.
