Emma Watson: Brown University truth is outed.

It's another "Echee vindicated" moment.............(all blue links go back to posts I did or source) outed.

Last fall Emma raved about Brown as to how it's where she belongs because it has a strong sense of community and she would not give it up for anything. She went on to say how she turns down scripts because education is important to her and she's addicted to knowledge. She still said all this as she left school for a month during that same time period to film a very small role in "My week with Marilyn." It's all in the Brown link above. While all this Brown love was being spouted she clarified she would never do a film like "Perks of being a Wallflower" with drugs and sex (link for it below) and it's even verified in one paragraph below dated this month.

If that was not enough Emma went on to tell Mexico's seventeen magazine during more promotion for DH part 1 that she is not addicted to fame or money but peculiar enough unlike the American magazines she went on to say she's tired of working and going to school at the same time. This is the same deal as saying in the beginning she went to Brown for a particular course and then a year later stating the USA was a place where she could re-invent herself. All this while the author of the book and now director Chbosky came out earlier that pre-dates all these reference quotes above that Emma was going to be Sam.  Check what he said at a Pennsylvania University HERE from october 2010

From metro.co.uk May 2010, Based on Stephen Chbosky's 1999 novel, the film will revolve around an unpopular teen who writes about his life.The story follows the teen as he battles with his tortured adolescence, dabbles in drugs and witnesses a drunken rape. Watson may team up with Percy Jackson & the Olympians star Logan Lerman in the film, although it is not known which parts they will play, reports Empire. The movie would certainly be a change in direction for Watson who is most famous for portraying Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series.It will be her first role feature role outside of the teen wizard franchise. Perks of Being a Wallflower will be written and directed by Stephen Chbosky.

So that little trip to LA (check that out she looks off and needs assistance to walk) for the New Years was more about going to the studios to beg for funding (not much to see friends from Brown like Demi moore's daughter Scout) to film in because Chbosky was having a hard time finding a backer to fund the controversial book into a film. Be it that I do not think Emma holds any clout within the industry and more of a muse and tool for companies like Burrbery and Lancome to profit off of Hermione, but being part of the best grossing franchise in movie history does help. After all the PR spin and grandstanding on her college experience it was all just another farce on her part. If I've learned anything on Emma is when she sells something hard she does not actually believe in it.

TIMELINE: JAN 17TH 2011 TWEET Stating she had so much to do before heading back to college for the 25th. This tweet had since been removed for some reason, lol. Sorry I find it funny because it's so shady on her part. She never arrived at Brown that following week. FEB 10TH 2011 TWEET confirming her role as Sam in PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER. FEB 13TH, 2011 attends the den of sexual debauchery with many producers on hand for the Baftas including one Harvey Weinsten that produced "My week with Marilyn." MARCH 7TH 2011 statement on her official website as to why she dropped out of Brown siting other projects and finishing her work on Deathly Hallows even though they've been done filming since December 2010. APRIL 3RD, 2011 does not attend either DH part 1 DVD release in London or NYC but a few video interviews come out that she surely could have pre-recorded. MARCH 13TH, 2011 confirms to be the new face of animal testing cosmetic and perfume company LANCOME and same day begins filming TV ads and photo shoots that last a few days.

SO REALLY......(Too the point without rambling)

Emma Watson quit Brown for Perks of being a Wallflower and then Lacnome came around weeks later. Being Harvey Werinstein's (His company produced many films including The Kings Speech) new muse who came out and called her an Icon that both makes you laugh and feeds Emma all so growing smug ego it is no surpise she got Lancome because Harvey had made many actresses careers with Lancome. I think she had to work for that though as I already showed here. I am right when I said in an older post if she loved Brown so much why did she leave  for a small meaningless role in "My week with Marilyn" that was ironically produced by WeinsteinDiva like attitude on the set of Potter with contract demands and bitchiness was correct but there is no doubt she was typecast or had a black mark on her because she has needed Weinstein to boost her career. Why would she need Weinstein? Well click this Pixie cut post I did. Overall, how she exited from Brown is proof in my eyes.

And finally as for her falling in love with the Perks script of which she claimed to have read the book so she knew the story and her part before the actual script was in her hand, the same thing was said about her small role in "My week with Marilyn" Wow, if this how much she loves Brown and Values education I wonder what it would be like if she didn't like Brown or education, lol.

And my agent called me up and was like “please just read the script, you won’t regret it, please just read it.” I so didn’t want to, and the minute I opened it up I couldn’t put it down (Hey just like perks script but pre-dates perks!). And the part was small but really interesting and had like a really good character arc and was really well formed even though it had a few scenes. And I called her straight back and was like “yes alright you were right. I’m in I’m in I’m in.” So it was nice. Yeah I was offered the part so that was amazing." (Yes that was amazing!! I'm sure Harvey Weinstein thought so to. It seems to me for someone who says education is so important that she would not give it up for anything she sure has a funny way about doing about it when a small role arises that would take her away from that experience she longed to have.

What a nice calculated move on Emma's part to come out on the day of the big Royal Wedding to deny she was bullied out of Brown. She did the same sort of thing on the day Elizabeth Taylor died. is this a statement released just to get it out there but bury it under the Royal Wedding or is she trying to take some spotlight away from the Royal Wedding which is quite huge at the moment? Probably not but still you ddecide to speak out this day?  Don't worry Emma I actually believe you. I also believe you quit Brown for Perks and Lancome.

I have never been bullied in my life and certainly never at Brown. This '10 points to Gryffindor' incident never even happened. I feel the need to say this because accusing Brown students of something as serious as bullying and this causing me to leave seems beyond unfair." She went on to say "Please don't try and speculate about what I might do in September - no one can possibly know because I don't even know yet! Like my other fellow Brown students I am trying to figure out my third year and whether or not I will spend it abroad (this is common)."

Umm, this is common? Nope. What is common for "fellow Brown students" is to stay at the University to get an education because that's the reason they went there in the first place and not a place to oh say, "Re-invent yourself" or go on extended "holiday" to mingle with the commoners. Plus signing big modeling contracts and later cosmetic and perfume companies don't help much either and that's not common for "fellow Brown students." They don't have millions in the bank to toy with or have the desire to toy with their education like some actress seem to be doing. Some of them are on scholarship. They had to get there by working hard in the classroom instead of being home schooled and coddled. They didn't use their money and famous name to gain admittance. Hmm, I wonder what student was denied Brown because Emma Watson took their place?

Emma Watson bullied at Brown

(She didn't offer the name the new school.) The news comes in the wake of reports that the actress was bullied out of Brown University. According to the New York Daily News, Watson was a vocal and smart student, and when she got something right, her Ivy League classmates would respond with a quote from Harry Potter. The most popular choice was: "Three points for Gryffindor!" – a reference to the movie's dormitory system, and a congratulatory phrase in the films when a student got a correct answer. The Daily News also said that Watson was heckled at a September football game against Harvard by students shouted Harry Potter phrases at her. Watson's rep, Vanessa Davies, said there was no truth to the reports. She added that the star "has absolutely loved her time at Brown" and made many good friends there.

ECHEE SAYS: It didn’t dawn on me until earlier today that a Twitter/Facebook post of Emma’s mysteriously disappeared. What do you think that post was about? If you are good at guessing you guessed correctly it was about Brown. In mid-January she posted on her facebook about going back to school. At the end of January she never reported. That post stayed there for months because I actually copied and pasted it to my “Emma Watson the Brown dropout” post. After her March 7^th message from her official website about taking time off from Brown is when that post was gone. Someone who comments on my blog pointed that out a few weeks back. Why would that post disappear?

I don’t think she was even remotely bullied at Brown. What I do think is she was heckled from time to time. Partly is due to the American culture of ribbing one another. Some people can take it too far and with Emma maybe not coming from that sort of environment she is sensitive to it. I think the term bully is being thrown around a little too irresponsibly. It’s not like she was turned upside with her head place in the toilet while someone flushed it or was given an Indian burn or beaten up on the playground. That’s what I think when I hear the term bully. She might not have thick skin.

Even if she was heckled I could not blame those who did. I am sure if she was some was out of jealousy but I don’t think it was by majority. I think some who did it read her Vanity Fair, Maria Claire, Elle, Vogue, Parade and all other magazine interviews she did talking about Brown. I am sure like her fans they paid attention to how Emma said before she went to University she wanted to do it right because she wants normalcy and anonymity to only see her take to her official website days after she arrived and then do various interviews straight through her first year and into her second.

I don’t think some took too kindly to Emma’s smug and snob like high class attitude towards those who are high class themselves. Be it Emma is a millionaire but some of those students come from families that have more money than Emma. Plus how can you say you want left alone but publically keep on talking about your experiences and then like Emma did have a break down when a fellow student asks for an autograph? I am sure some of these students felt the leave me alone I am a celebrity vibe as she piled around with other celebrities children and one Spanish rocker.

Emma Watson quit Brown for Perks and Lancome. That’s it. End of story. It was not to focus on her other acting projects or fashion. She also said it was to finish up Potter but filming had since ended and she never showed for either Deathly Hallows DVD release in either London or NYC. You see her in some interviews but you can tell they are old from how short her hair is and some newer ones she could have done before Brown’s spring term began. She got an offer to make more money and obtain more fame. In the process like other actresses that is in her position she will attract more movie roles.

There is nothing wrong with that because Emma is an actress. The issue is being completely disingenuous about it all for the sake of this perfect girl next door image that is a farce and fallacy. Anyone who has paid attention to her facebook wall post, March 7^th message and now her admittance that she’s transferring out of Brown could tell she left the University for Lancôme. She has since lost her spot. In mid-February she was seen touring NYU so her March 7^th message about loving Brown and later comments of returning to the University was more media and fan manipulation. 

I don't believe Emma for a second if you click the 5 below examples with why she quit Brown. I also think she is not as smart as she is made out to be and that is part of the Hermione label. I also would not doubt this bullying claim was a plant by her people to make Emma out as more of a victim to lighten any back lash because Emma has pushed the University desire for years. It was the sole purpose as she claimed as to why she resigned to do all the Potter movies. Funny now that Potter is over, so is her time at Brown. Her undated answer is: "I was seriously torn as to whether to stay in the UK or go to the States as let's face it the UK has some of the best universities in the world. But, ultimately, I loved the course at Brown and really liked the idea of experiencing a different country and culture - and I must say I've never been happier, I absolutely love Brown."
