Source TokyoHivearlier, An Café’s kanon unveiled a tiny teaser for kanonxkanon’s “Calendula Requiem” PV at the New York Anime Festival, and although we couldn’t make it out clearly, we knew it was going to be something quite stunning indeed.
Splashing into the scene with its vibrant visuals, the PV looks to be set in a spirit world where traditional Japanese cultural elements are intertwined with modern-day devices. We’re sure that kanon and Kanon Wakeshima wanted to deliver a story here, but we’re so mesmerized by the PV’s beauty that the message is eluding us.
